Jennifer Lopez has revealed an unexpected email led her to rekindle her romance with ex Ben Affleck.
According to the Let’s Get Loud singer, her now-husband sent her the message after mentioning her in an interview - and they never stopped talking.

At the time, Lopez had split from her ex-fiancé baseball player Alex Rodriguez and Affleck has split from his ex, Blonde actress Ana De Armas.
“I don’t know that I recommend this for everybody,” Lopez said of their rekindling to Vogue.
According to the November cover story, Affleck notified his ex that he was asked about her in an interview and the Gone Girl star “provided a rave” review.
From there, they kept talking and soon began visiting each other in person.
“Sometimes you outgrow each other, or you just grow differently,” the now Mrs Affleck said.
“Obviously we weren’t trying to go out in public. But I never shied away from the fact that for me, I always felt like there was a real love there, a true love there.
‘Very special person’
“People in my life know that he was a very, very special person in my life. When we reconnected, those feelings for me were still very real.”
“Bennifer” dated back in the early 2000s and were engaged before they called it quits in 2004.
Affleck went on to marry and then divorce actress Jennifer Garner before rekindling with Lopez last year. The couple has five children between them.
“Not to discredit anything in between that happened, because all those things were real too,” she said of their initial split.
“All we’ve ever wanted was to kind of come to a place of peace in our lives where we really felt that type of love that you feel when you’re very young and wonder if you can have that again. Does it exist? Is it real? All those questions that I think everyone has.”
“You go through all these relationships, and you’re searching and you’re connecting and you’re disconnecting with people, and you’re like, ‘God, is this just what life is?
“Like a carousel, roller coaster, carnival ride?’ And then it settles. But the journey to that is the mystery for everybody.”
The rekindled couple married twice in 2022, the first time in a Las Vegas chapel in July and again at Affleck’s $AU12 million mansion in Georgia in August.
Lopez opened up about the Vegas ceremony in a newsletter sent to fans saying they “stood in line for a license with four other couples”.
“So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives,” she wrote.
