Man killed in cement truck rollover in remote King Ash Bay, Northern Territory

A man has been killed when he was caught in a cement truck rollover in a remote area in the Northern Territory.

A man has been killed when the cement truck he was driving rolled in a remote area in the Northern Territory.

The man, aged 45, was driving the cement truck in King Ash Bay, a popular fishing town about 50km past Borroloola on the McArthur River.

Northern Territory police said the man was turning right onto Batten Rd when the cement truck tipped and rolled on Thursday.

Staff from a nearby clinic rushed to the man’s aid and alerted emergency services, however, despite their actions, the driver died at the scene.

Local police said they were examining the circumstances surrounding the crash.
