Man killed in crash on WA’s Brand Hwy when ute hits tree

A young man has been killed when the ute he was driving crashed into a tree off a highway in Western Australia.

The 30-year-old was driving a silver Ford Falcon ute on the Brand Hwy in Ginginup on Monday just before 8pm when it left the road and struck a tree.

The man died at the scene.

Police are yet to determine exactly what caused the car to drive off the highway.

They have urged anyone with information or dashcam vision to contact them.
