A young man has been killed when the car he was driving crashed into a tree off a highway in Western Australia.

A young man has been killed when the ute he was driving crashed into a tree off a highway in Western Australia.

The 30-year-old was driving a silver Ford Falcon ute on the Brand Hwy in Ginginup on Monday just before 8pm when it left the road and struck a tree.

The man died at the scene.

Police are yet to determine exactly what caused the car to drive off the highway.
