Man killed when car hits tree at Mathoura, in NSW’s Riverina Region

A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the Riverina region of southern NSW on Wednesday night.

His car left the Cobb Hwy at Mathoura, about 20km south of Deniliquin, about 6.50pm and hit a tree NSW Police said.

The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
