Motorcyclist killed in crash at Forsdale in Lockyer Valley west of Brisbane

A motorcycle rider has been killed in a crash after colliding with a car west of Brisbane.

The male motorcycle rider was travelling on Gatton Clifton Rd near Heifer Creek at Forsdale in the Lockyer Valley area when he collided with a Nissan Patrol at about 3pm on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to the scene, where the rider was found with life-threatening injuries. He later died at the scene.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
