A child has been killed, and another seriously injured, in a horrific motorbike accident southeast of Darwin.
Northern Territory Police said two off-road dirt bikes were involved in a crash with a car on Girraween Rd, Girraween about 8.15pm on Tuesday.
A 15-year-old boy was critically injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

Both boys were riding dirt bikes at the time of the crash.
Police said the 38-year-old male driver of the car called police and cared for the boys before an ambulance arrived.
He tested negative for alcohol and drugs and is assisting police with the investigation.
Investigations are ongoing.
